Founders Day 2023

Welcome to the second Founders Day celebration. At Plaksha, CREATE is a powerful acronym embodying our values and shaping the essence of our mission – it stands for Curious, Rigorous, Enterprising, Authentic, Thankful and Exemplary. But, CREATE is not merely a word, it is the cornerstone of our guiding principle for shaping ‘tech leaders of tomorrow’. We aspire to CREATE tech leaders who don't just innovate but are dedicated to build solutions to address the most pressing grand challenges that our world face. We aim to CREATE a community of researchers who are committed to exploring groundbreaking ideas, shaping a future that holds promise for all. We are not content with the conventional, which is why we are here to CREATE a legacy of innovation, purpose and impact. It gives us great joy to celebrate Founders Day 2023 where CREATE is not just a word or an acronym but a call to action.

What to expect

Welcome to Chandigarh

Designed from scratch in 1950 as an experiment in urban planning by the famous Swiss Architect Le Corbusier, Chandigarh is a prosperous cosmopolitan city with a rainfed lake, lush green gardens, grand monuments and sweeping civic structures. The city is also just a short ride away from the quiet city of Mohali.

Rapidly developing as an IT hub, Mohali is a part of the Chandigarh Tricity. Situated at the foothills of the Shivalik Hills, the city has a pleasant temperature of around 24-25 degree Celsius in November. Light woolens in the evenings make for a comfortable stay.

Open Hand Monument

A visit to Chandigarh is incomplete without visiting the Open Hand Monument. This metal structure was designed by architect Le Corbusier and signifies the city’s credo of "open to give and open to receive”.
